Real Time Strategy Game of 2000: Ground Control
DEVELOPER
: Massive
PUBLISHER : Sierra Studios
Ahhh.... A 3-D ground based combat game WITH a fully controllable AND
workable 3-D camera that allows one to admire the gorgeous graphics. What
more can one say? How about the solid voice acting, music and sound
effects? For those who prefer Myth style games, here lies a futuristic
version with infantry, tanks, artillery and air units. Let's face it, the
traditional RTS has us spending too much time base building. Ground Control
threw that out the window to allow the player to concentrate on tactics.
Select the appropriate troops for the mission and than use them with
combined arms tactics. Ground Control is a great game and one of the very
few to shine this year.
